Jael creció siendo hija de líderes, sus padres siempre sirvieron en la Iglesia del Nazareno en México. Nació el 18 de enero del 2000 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México... Pero ella y su familia se mudaban constantemente mientras crecía debido a los trabajos y estudios de sus padres. ¡Pero a Jael le encantaba! Ama la creación de Dios, le encanta el arte (pintar y cantar) y hacer ejercicio; actualmente entrena para ser cinta negra en karate do (estilo Goju Ryu). Es una chica muy espontánea y le encanta ver el mundo de manera física, por medio del alma y de forma espiritual. Se considera creativa, valiente y firme en lo que es correcto. Su color favorito es el morado y su animal preferido el colibrí.

Cuando Jael era pequeña, iba a las actividades de la iglesia con sus padres. Y como ellos sirvieron a los jóvenes durante mucho tiempo, ella esperaba que algún día ella también lo hiciera. Y así, su llamado a servir a los jóvenes se estableció. Le encantaba servir mientras crecía, y empezó a sentir un llamado a las misiones cuando cumplió 15 años, pero no estaba segura y tampoco le entusiasmaba.

Comenzó a estudiar en el Seminario Teológico de la Iglesia del Nazareno de la sede en Guadalajara, México a la edad de 16 años y comenzó a servir a los adolescentes de su iglesia, y un año después, como líder de jóvenes y como maestra de escuela dominical por 5 años. Con el apoyo de su iglesia y la ayuda de sus padres, fue capaz de ministrar y formar líderes jóvenes que pudieran asumir el cargo una vez finalizado su tiempo de servicio allí. Mientras tanto, sirvió a la JNI en varios ministerios, incluyendo el Ministerio de Comunicaciones y como presidenta/vicepresidenta (localmente, en su "zona", en su distrito y en su región).

Ahora, por la gracia de Adonai, Jael puede decir que recibió su llamado misionero desde joven y la confirmación de atenderlo en el 2021 (a los 21 años). Es graduada en Diseño Gráfico y usa su carrera para seguir sirviendo en Comunicaciones. Dios le permitió servir como facilitadora de Comunicaciones de JNI Región Mesoamérica, y en algunos eventos de la JNI Global (con interpretación, traducción, diseño gráfico, etc). Sirvió por 1 año y medio en “Proyecto Génesis” (un proyecto de plantación de iglesias en áreas urbanas), en Chihuahua, Chihuahua, México. Actualmente sirve como intérprete para la JNI Región Mesoamérica y Facilitadora de Comunicaciones de Movilización Misionera de Región Mesoamérica.

Jael grew up as the daughter of leaders; her parents always served in the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico. She was born on January 18, 2000, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico... But she and her family moved constantly while she was growing up due to her parents' work and studies. But Jael loved it! She loves God’s creation, art (painting and singing), and exercise. She is currently training to become a black belt in karate do (Goju Ryu style). She is a very spontaneous girl and loves to see the world physically, through her soul, and spiritually. She considers herself creative, courageous, and steadfast in what is right. Her favorite color is purple, and her favorite animal is the hummingbird.

When Jael was little, she went to church activities with her parents. And since they served young people for a long time, she hoped that one day she would too. And so, her calling to serve young people was established. She loved to serve as she grew up, and she began to feel a calling to missions when she turned 15, but she wasn't sure and wasn't enthusiastic about it either.

She began studying at the Theological Seminary of the Church of the Nazarene in Guadalajara, Mexico, at the age of 16 and began serving the teenagers in her church. A year later, she became a youth leader and Sunday school teacher for five years. With the support of her church and the help of her parents, she was able to minister and train young leaders who could take over once her time of service there was over. Meanwhile, she served NYI in various ministries, including the Communications Ministry and as president/vice president (locally, in her “zone,” in her district, and in her region).

Now, by the grace of Adonai, Jael can say that she received her missionary calling at a young age and the confirmation to answer it in 2021 (at age 21). She has a degree in Graphic Design and uses her career to continue serving in Communications. God allowed her to serve as a communications facilitator for NYI Mesoamerica Region and at some NYI Global events (with interpretation, translation, graphic design, etc.). She served for a year and a half in “Proyecto Génesis” (a church planting project in urban areas) in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. She currently serves as an interpreter for NYI Mesoamerica and Communications Facilitator for Mission Mobilization for NYI Mesoamerica.

Prayer requests: Please consider praying for Jael and her family, as they stay behind with mourning hearts after Jael’s mom passed away in September 2024. Pray for Jael’s courage and strength.
